'To Stand In a Puddle of Water' - A fun, lighthearted poem to challenge kids (and adults!) to step out into nature, to leave their comfort zone, even briefly, and see what they discover about themselves.  Included at the end of my book 'The Rhythm of the Beach'

'Between Two Worlds' - a poem written after witnessing a traditional ceremony in a remote community in the NT in 2016.

'Signposts of National Maturity' - a reflection written for the Griffith Review in 2021 on Australia's changing attitudes toward its Indigenous peoples and heritage (NOTE: written before the Voice Referendum).

'Are Ranger Jobs Real Jobs?' - written for The Guardian in 2016 to challenge the Government of the time's racist attitudes toward Indigenous Ranger and Indigenous Protected Area programs.

'Natures cure for the covid blues' - article written in September 2021 promoting the benefits of connecting with nature to help deal with Covid lockdown related mental health issues.  "Taking the time to slow down and bear witness to the natural wonders surrounding us can provide a reassuring reminder we are not alone in this world"
