'To Stand In a Puddle of Water' - A fun, lighthearted poem to challenge kids (and adults!) to step out into nature, to leave their comfort zone, even briefly, and see what they discover about themselves.  Included at the end of my book 'The Rhythm of the Beach'

'Signposts of National Maturity' - a reflection written for the Griffith Review in 2021 on Australia's changing attitudes toward its Indigenous peoples and heritage.

'Are Ranger Jobs Real Jobs?' - written for The Guardian in 2016 to challenge the Government's racist attitudes toward Indigenous programs.
